So, I’m going to be starting a new project on February 1 that I call 50 in 50.
First, I guess I should give you summary of what brought me to this point and then I’ll give you the deets on 50 in 50.
I’ve always dreamt of great things for myself, people in my life, and the world in general. Most people would probably consider me to live in the clouds and I’m okay with that. Since graduating from college a few years ago, I’ve been on a mission to find my calling and get a “real job”. Along the way, I found many different amazing opportunities in art, most of which didn’t pay very well, but all giving me new perspectives on people and the place art/creativity has in their lives. I feel incredibly blessed to have the chance to embrace this unconventional but fulfilling career in art (shout out to Mike, my husband for enabling this).
I wanted to start a business that would be accessible to anyone and everyone that appreciates art, creativity, and life. I want to be able to paint for people that can’t necessarily afford a Dali but want a meaningful gift or keepsake. I know now that God has a plan for everyone and sometimes it takes awhile to see what that is, but I believe my path is to create, teach, and try to bring people together through art. This year has taught me that art can be emotional (good or bad), sentimental, and sometimes just beautiful and fun.
Now for 50 in 50….
